| I've got a 42' 69 Commander (Bear Z Girl)and experienced a loss of power when running them at around 3200 rpm's for about an hour. The port motor started to spit, sputter and backfire until I backed them down to around 2300 rpms and it ran fine but as soon as I put the coal to the fire again it spit, popped and backfired again. The starboard motor also seems sluggish when under a load before planeing. Is this and indicator that my valves are due for adjustment? The starboard motor is also showing signs of running rich due to the black sooty film in the water at an idle. Any Help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve Lendzion
