Need help with a 350Q distributor

Hope you can help me my 350Q motor has been giving me fits.

I finally discovered that the distributor advance is broken and am trying to locate a new malory distributor or one that is compatible. malory states they do not have a replacement available, has anyone had to rebuild a distributor or is there another distributor vailable with electronic ignition already built-in.

I check at orileys auto marine parts and a regular msd would work but the shaft length on my old Malory is shorter. Also, if I have the petronix ignition does that handle the advance on the distributor?

We had it running great but then it would get out of time and it has been one problem after another we have already put a new hoter MSD coil on it.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
