Problems with my SS

I started in on my SS today. It started right up, and blew a casting plug out, on the shunt side closest to the PTO of the engine (327 Q). I knew immediately it must have froze there, and then I noticed a drain I had missed. The engine had only ran for only a few seconds, and I did notice milk on the dipstick. The stick goes into the block right at the missing cat plug. I had changed the oil proior to lay up. I would think the drain on the other side of the block would have dumped enough water. Anyway, I am sick over this. I am going through a painful divorce which is why I had wanted to sell this last season. If it is indeed a cracked block, I will pickle the engine, and sell it for best offer.

My questions are,
How to I reinstall casting plug? Is there a glue to use? Anyone else for get this easy to miss drain and have similar issues that had a happy ending?

I cant believe I forgot this drain plug. This divorce has destroyed my mind.
