Hi Paul,
Thank you very much for your help. Now is 9:00pm here. I didn't have enough time to clean the boat. but I did those pictures so you can see. The boat is in very good condition but was not used for years. Anyway this afternoon I started the engine at the first time and run it on sweet water for a wile. I still could not sea trail the boat but in fact I don't have much time at the moment. My intention is to refresh the boat that will take me some time and probably some weekend next season put in the water.
I have notice on the engine that one exhaust manifold was nearly not warm and the other very hot. I don't know much about mechanicals, but I want to learn with that one. The forum is really interesting and useful for us.
I'm a little bit scared of not finding spare part in Europe and I don't know how easy is to get them from US as I never bought anything there before. Have a good weekend!!
Kind regards,
Oscar

(ABOVE:) A very rare Chris Craft Monte Carlo is discovered in Spain. Many thanks to Oscar, who is in the process of going over this 427-powered beauty in anticipation of splashing it next season, or perhaps later this season. This very unique boat evolved from the 1966 23’ Lancer transdrive boats, but this one has the 427 motor with a V-drive installation, just like the 23’ Commander of 1968 and 1969, and re-badged Lancer Premiere/Custom Super Sport of 1970. This boat was built in the Fiumicino, Italy, Chris Craft manufacturing plant. It uses the same hull as the 23’ Lancer and 23’ Commander, but with some interesting topside, upholstery, instruments and hardware changes. The engine and drivetrain are stock Chris Craft 427 and V-drive setup
