A GREAT source for Chris Craft motor parts ----->> Dan Cook Chris Craft Parts <<-----

Gosh, it must be 15 years ago now, Janet and I bought a 35' Sea Skiff with twin 327F motors and the seller told me I could get anything I needed for the Chris Craft marine motors from a guy called Dan Cook. He had Dan's phone number listed in the 3-ring binder he transferred to us when we bought the boat.

After a period of time, sure enough, I had a fuel pump failure and I called Dan and I think it was my first purchase. In came a couple of fuel pumps and off I went. Over the years I've been able to rely on Dan for things like authentic 427 marine fuel pumps, and just about any marine parts that CC added at their marine engine plant. Dan worked at the CC engine plant and to my understanding, bought up all of the factory replacement parts stock, so what you get is the real thing.

Monday I called for help. As many of you know, I've been working on a project boat over the winter and I'm hopeful to get her on the water soon. Now I'm dealing with the fact that the risers and manifolds I got with the boat, and from Ebay, all seem to need to be swapped around in order to make up one good set. I needed gaskets, and I needed them quickly. I called and Dan knew EXACTLY which part would go on the 327F, the prices are very fair, and the darn package just arrived Thursday morning here at the office. Inside the box are the critical parts I need. Looking over the invoice I see I ordered 12 items for this motor and the most expensive piece was $5.50.

Dan is a small business owner, he answers the phone, he selects the parts and packs the box; he's a walking encyclopedia of Chris Craft engine technology, and if you want it right the first time from someone who deals only in Chris Craft parts, this is one great choice. Did you guys hear me say "the prices are fair"?

This web site and forum has no commercial interest, we don't ask for any favors nor will we accept any cash, etc., but we sure will recommend people who provide a great service like this to the boating community.

I know you can buy parts for motors at NAPA, Summit, etc., but the parts you get from Dan are specific to the marine application.

Regards,
Paul
