Jim and Rita Patrick, aboard their 1974 41’ Commander, IRISH AYES, Lake Texoma, Texas, sharing a photo moment with a friend.

(BELOW): IRISH AYES, loaded with friends and looking good! Part of the fun of having a boat like this, is the ability to entertain guests on the water. There’s nothing like it, and it’s a source of great fun and great memories too.

(BELOW): The trademark pointed transom of a Commander.

Jim Patrick sent in these images of IRISH AYES, his 41’ 1974 Commander located on Lake Texoma, Texas. Jim and Rita have owned the boat for ten years, it’s been professionally maintained, and appears to be in great shape. The boat is located on Lake Texoma, Texas, where it has spent it’s entire life. Jim noted this boat was specially built without a flybridge, in order to provide the huge aft deck.

Besides Jim’s stellar business career, including many radio and TV appearances, and consultation with Fortune 100 companies, he and Rita have another love, and it’s raising Alpacas! The photo below is worth a thousand words!

A lot of our readers here on the Forum may not know how much water is in Texas! Lake Texoma, located on the Texas/Oklahoma border, formed in 1944, has a long history of running Chris Craft boats, and there are a lot of them still on the lake and in the area. The lake is formed by the Red River, and has a surface area of around 75,000 acres. Maximum depth is 100 feet deep.
