The blues fest has really been fun so far -- we have had lots of friends dropping by to enjoy the music:

Above you can see one advantage off not having a rear stantion hand rail on the Sportfisher model.

The guy that brought the dock with the blue carpet on it also brought a Lazy Boy recliner, and has been sleeping the night on the dock in that chair -- pretty funny!

The boats behind me are all rafted -- there are a lot of boats here!
So far everyone seems pretty sane, and other than a couple of anchor lines snagged by inexperienced boaters we haven't seen any accidents -- the river cops are nearby to keep the crazies away.
We were at the fest Fri and Sat, but are taking a break today to get some other things done. Then back tomorrow and Tuesday. There will be a big fireworks display shot from a barge the evening of the 4th. Then we will get the Chris Craft back to our moorage, and head off on vacation to the beautiful San Juan Islands north of Seattle -- we will be putting 50 or miles per day on Jim's a 18' inboard/outboard boat while there. Been going there for many years -- Scuba, fishing, crabbing, and enjoying some of the most beautiful country in the USA. We will have more than a dozen people from several states camping with us this year.
Best wishes, Curt...
