Response to 23' Chris Craft Commander Value

Sorry, I didn't see this conversation until today. I have a 1968 23' Commander: FRAV-23-0049N. I bought it with the stringers replaced, new floor, and a 350 long block installed. It does definitely have wood stringers from front to back. It is a very heavy boat (4800 lbs) and has a great ride and performance even with the small block. The original front seats are missing on mine and do not appear to be replaceable. They were completely custom, but not really very functional. The boat in question appears to have the original seats. If I can figure out how to attach photos I can illustrate my point.
In any case, I consider it to be one of the best boats ever made. Everything on it is of the best quality. Incredibly over-built. I wouldn't sell mine for less than $15,000.

Sorry about posting this message twice - now I know how to do it.
