350Q Timing

I have inherited a 1973 ChrisCraft Sedan 33 with twin 350Q engines. I have owned a 1965 Commander 27' for 30 years which I completely restored and sold last summer upon receiving the larger boat. The 33' was owned by my dad and needs a bit of work. I have replaced the risers, exhausts, rebuilt the Carter Carbs, rebuilt the mallory distributors, rebuilt the heads, replaced the alternators, and rebuilt the starters. My problem is I have not ben able to figure out how to time the boat. All web sites and postings list questions requesting information on timing a 350Q yet no-one seems to have a answer. I do not see any timing marks. I have since tried power timing however nothing yet has been able to get these engines above 3200-3300 RPMs. The boat is a slug and tops out at 13 knots using 25 gallons per hour. Someting is wrong an I can not figure it out! Any and all help would be appreciated. I was asked by someone from marine engines.com to post an answer if I get one since they do not know either. They told me to ask for Mark on this webs site since he has a pair of 350Q's in a boat he just lauched. Mark if you are out there I am at jrr4948@optonline.net

Thank you very much for your help.
Sincerely
JRR
