Commander flush deck magazine ad

An old magazine ad with some nice looking Commanders, all without the Command Bridge.

----------------------------------------------

Edit Comments below added to this thread, many thanks for sharing the ad Bill!:

Since the type is small on this image, here are some of the words describing this great looking cruiser.

"The after stateroom is 10 x 13 feet. All on one level too are the large, compact galley and spacious dining and living areas. Nothing has been spared to make her interior the most lavish 45 feet on the water.

She’s fast for her size. Speeds up to 26.9 mph, at 36,000 pounds displacement, with 8V-71N GM Diesels. Twin 300 Chris Craft engines also available. Special placement of fuel and water tanks improves her stability and trim, so that she rides soft and handles well, even on the windiest days. A comfortable, safe, agile performer in a thoroughly tested fiberglass hull."

Here's a 47' Flush Deck, owned by Mike Adam, as photographed by Terry Hart on his recent trip around Lake Huron. Thanks for the photo Terry! Nice boat Mike!

We'd like to learn more about this series of Commander. Anyone with photos or information about the various Flush Deck Models, please post away!

Regards, Paul
