What do I need to mate an Explorer 5.0 to a C4? Will the C4 torque convertor bolt to the 5.0 flexplate? Will the C4 flexplate bolt to the 5.0? This is going in a '63 Fairlane that currently has a tired '66 289/C4 in it. The '66 C4 is in good shape so we just need it to play nice with the 5.0. Thanks for your help. Harry

You will need to have either:
a large bellhousing with the large converter or
a flex plate counterweighted for your engine for the small C4 bell and converter.
