I am replacing my stock 430 with a rebuilt short block and since the rebuilder is not using mine as a core I will have no use for it.
I did a ring and valve job on the engine about 7000 miles ago (at 100K) and it is stock bore with stock crank, cam, etc. It runs great but doesn't have as much oil pressure as I would like (about 25 PSI hot) and has a little piston slap when starting up in cold weather.
The short block (no heads, manifold, etc)will be available around the end of the month and is located near Sacramento Ca. My email address is "bye2001@sbcglobal.net"
I am asking $350 which is what I am being charged for the short block core.
The buyer would have to pick up as shipping is not an option but I can store for a while and will help load.

Price reduction or save this block from a terrible fate!

After careful consideration and the fact that I haven't had a single offer I am reducing my asking price to "Best Offer".
I need the room and can't store this block in my garage.
If I can't find a home for it it may find use as a boat anchor.
Pick up only.
