This went to some folks in Germany who are building a 383 nostalgia car. They also got a blower manifold. Neat stuff but I don't know where they are going to come up with a blower cam or rockers. Sure hope they do. I'd love to see it run.

Actually I dont know what I was saying about rockers. Pretty easy to find FE stuff. The cam is a bigger issue but if those guys are looking on here, I might have an extra cam blank and Schneider can grind you what you need. Those guys are great.

Hi Ron, yes we are looking.Like I write you to your emailadress we want to get an 430 crank for stroke our 383 engine to 430.We want to get forged pistons.First( we want to get ready to run spring 05) we think to run the engine with a 4bbl org. manifold,and a Carter carb like original.Which cam we should use in looking forward to do other modifications next time?Should we work first with the original setup and original cam? Its a lot of work to change the cam later.
We need spec. of a 430 piston or a old one for sample.
We can use your offered cam blank and we can grind it in germany but we need mesurements and tech tips.

there is a cam blank on ebay right now for $125 through "vintakes". He is a good guy and has great parts. You've gotta build that blower motor though! Drop me a line if I can help.
