Anyone have a 65 Fairlane Sport Coupe automatic console complete with shifter and plate that bolts to the transmission tunnel. Color does not matter.

You can expand your search by looking for 1962 to 1964 Galaxie and Fairlane from 1963 to 1965. I just sold a column shift console for over $300.00 bucks and they are the common ones. The floor shift consoles with shifter are dear but availabe on e-bay. I just bought one a month ago with a nice shifter for my '63. Now there are times where a guy might break up a console and sell the shifter and console separately. The consoles are all the same. The mount is where the differences come in. The automatic tunnel mount has a tab on it to mount the shifter, the column mount consoles didn't. So you might want to buy the parts individually. Anything you can't use will sell on e-bay. Go over and see.

Good luck!

Fairlanes didn't come with ashtrays in the rear end cap of the console. and I thought that piece was bigger then the fairlane console , so they made 2 sizes of consoles just like 2 sizes of bucket seats ? I could be wrong but I believe there are 2 sizes of consoles, full size and intermediate.

The ashtray was an option and every once in a while they show up on e-bay as a separate part as do trim pieces.

Later!
