I don't think you really need traction bars on a Torino. My son has a '73 that we put a 460, C6 w/2500 stall, and 4.57 gears. With 9 inch slicks, the car has gone 1.58 sixty foot time with a 12.55 quarter. The only thing I did to the rear suspension was to replace the worn rubber bushings with new poly ones. Good luck.
