Thanks for your response! I ended up giving the AMF pedal car to my neice for Christmas with a "makeshift ignition and key" - I drilled a slot into the pedal car dash to fit a key from my 1963 Ford. On another Ford website, someone had sent me an ignition and key but it never made it across the border (he had forgotten to declare it as a car ignition and it was repossed). It's also a good thing it didn't arrive since my neice tried to stick the key into a wall socket (since fixed the problem by locking the key in the dash via a paper clip). Thanks for offering though!
