correct me if I am wrong, but I do remember Steve Hoelsher and a couple of others indicating that through their experience the weak point of the X1/9 gearbox are the axle shafts. If this is the case, would a LSD with a longer final drive ratio alleviate the extra stress the twin cam would put on the tranny and driveshafts?
